GCC Drawing Competition Results organized by Goan Cultural Centre-Kuwait



Following are the results of the competition held on 13th November 2009 at the Carmel School organized by Goan Cultural Centre-Kuwait.

Group A: 1st Prize - Esha Banerjee (Indian Community School); 2nd Prize – Jason Elijah Miranda (Indian English Academy School); 3rd prize – Tamara D’Souza (Indian English Academy School)

Group B: 1st Prize - Allan Germanus G.F. (Carmel School); 2ND Prize – Karthik Sivakumar (Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan); 3rd Prize – Fedora Carol Menezes (Carmel School);

Group C – 1st Prize Aditya Jaypal (Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan); 2nd Prize – Elrich J. Miranda (Indian English Academy School); and 3rd Prize – Buddhini Ranasinghe (Carmel School).

The drawing competition had a tremendous response from Indian students from several Indian schools in which a total of 360 students participated. The winners will be awarded prizes during the upcoming "Snowball with Pai Natal – Christmas Tree" programme on 11th December at Carmel School.

The organizers thanked the principals, art teachers and management of all the Indian schools in Kuwait for supporting the students and organizers. The competitors sponsors were Refreshment Trading Co. (Coca Cola) and KITCO (Kuwait Indo Trading Co) and well supported by Kuwait's English dailies, Web Portals and the Goan/Indian associations.
